NBA Week 19 – Eastern Conference
- The Cleveland Cavaliers Boston Celtics were fun last night. The Cavaliers returned from a disastrous start and won a big game in Boston. Boston missed two starters, but I don’t think it’s any different. Deep in Cleveland, the bench is good. De’andre Hunter is a great addition. Cleveland was able to use benches to minimize minutes of their stars. For Boston, they have to use Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown’s big score to stay in the game. Another thing about the Celtics, they made a good start in the game by moving the ball, but that stopped. Tatum had seven assists in the first half and completed nine assists, showing how their ball movement stopped. In the fourth quarter, Tatum and Brown kept opening the shooter one-on-one without wanting to play. If these two teams meet in the final, I’m now a little nodding to the Cavaliers.
- The Detroit Pistons’ seven-game winning streak is very useful for the NBA and is very suitable for the city. They came from the worst team in the league to the playoff team for a year. I don’t think they’ll go further than the first round, but no matter who they play, they’ll give it all.
- You don’t have to doubt that it took so long to understand what happened to Orlando Magic. Although they have two stars, Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, they return due to injuries. Jalen Suggs is gone and will last longer. Without Suggs, he missed the last fourteen games, and the Magic was 5-9. Sargus missed twenty-six games this year, with the Magic being 9-17. He is the heart and soul of the team.
- Joel Embiid will finally sit for the rest of the season. I hope he can solve the knee problem. I hope he is in better condition, too. Embiid has only participated in 19 games this year. For Philadelphia, their goal is now lost enough to keep their top six picks. If it was seven or older, they lost it to Oklahoma City.
NBA Week 19 – Western Conference
- The Western Conference was fun. The Oklahoma City Thunder is undoubtedly the best team. The problem is that they can deal with the pressure of the playoffs because of their youth. If healthy, I would still be Dallas as the second best team, followed by Denver. However, there are some lurking dark horses in the background. These include the Lakers and the Warriors team. For one of these two people, going to the finals will take everything to be right.
- There are many coaches you can mention for coach of the year. JJ Redick is not one of the top contenders coaches. Redick completely changed the Lakers’ focus. You might think that the Lakers’ defense will be worse after losing Anthony Davis. Since the Davis trade, the Lakers have given up 107 points per game. For this season, the Lakers are now giving up 111.3 points in every game. When you watch the Lakers, you can’t help but notice their efforts. It all comes back to the coach. If the Lakers continue to win, he must get more considerations.
- When I think of the team, I expect more from this year, I can’t help but think of the Timberwolves in Minnesota. Last year, they surprised everyone. This year, they traded the town of Karl-Anthony, but I still think they are at least the top four teams in the Western Conference, not. Their star Anthony Edwards has seen the numbers rise, but you have to doubt whether he will affect the win this year.
