
On Tuesday (June 24), the 2025 Hockey Hall of Fame Class was announced, with six players selected as the player category, and two of them selected as the Builders category.
Duncan Keith, Zdeno Chara, Jennifer Botterill, Brianna Decker, Joe Thornton and Alex Mogilny were the six players attracted, while Jack Parker and Daniele Sauvageau were selected as builders.

Thornton, Chara and Keith are in their first year of eligibility. Thornton was a six-time All-Star, former Hart Trophy winner, playing in the 1714 professional game between the San Jose Sharks, the Boston Bruins, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Florida Panthers.
Botterill and the Canadian team won three Olympic gold medals and five world championship gold medals. She is now a hockey analyst for SportsNet and TNT.
Chara played 1,680 games between the New York Islanders, the Bruins, the Ottawa Senator and the Washington Capitals, and was a six-time All-Star, former Norris Trophy winner and helped lead Bruce to the Stanley Cup in 2011.
Keith won three Stanley Cups and won the Chicago Blackhawks and was a two-time Norris Trophy winner. He played 1,256 games between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Edmonton Oilers.
Decker won gold with Team USA in 2018 and won six world championship gold medals.
Mogilny retired in 990 games after the 2005-06 season, a 990-game match between the Buffalo Saber, the Vancouver Canucks, the New Jersey Devils and the Maple Leafs, who scored 1032 points and won the Stanley Cup with the Devils in 2000.
Parker, who served as head coach at Boston University, retired in 2013 after 40 seasons and 897 wins at the same school.
Suoyi Line is the first female builder ever to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. She participated in seven Olympic Games as a coach, consultant and general manager.
