T-shirt time for round 1
For Rory McIlroy, the world’s second most recent, it’s been months since Rockkee’s. McIlroy started the season. He won his first PGA Tour at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM (a iconic event) before winning the Player Championship in March.
In April, he ended his dream of winning the Masters professional grand slam for his life.
But since then, McIlroy is not himself, performing poorly in the course and often refuses to talk to the media. He ended the T47 at the PGA Championship, missed the cuts at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Open, and then never became a factor in last week’s U.S. Open.
Now, he will try to return to the form he found on the Travelers Championship earlier this season, another autograph event.
Outlook for the Traveler Championship
As Connecticut’s final uplift event unfolds in the year, experts face challenges of hedging bets and highlighting potential sleeper drafts. The dialogue focuses on past performances and current forms, centering on major players like Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy.
McIlroy will start his first round with 2025 Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley from 10:35 a.m. ET.
