The Glasgow Rangers formally bid to sign another defender of manager Russell Martin after a Ibrox deal with Max Aarons.

Gers and 49ers Enterprises have effectively brought Aarons to Ibrox after confirming a deal signed by midfielder Lyall Cameron earlier this year.
Moving from Bournemouth to Glasgow reached a straightforward loan agreement, Aarons worked directly with the Rangers and said after signing the contract:
“I’m so happy to be here because you can see it’s a huge club and you realize that I can’t wait to go as you walk through the door.
“I have a lot of experience in different leagues right now and I play a lot of games. I think I can bring that experience, I can bring new energy, and I think the fans of Rangers will be excited – I’m really looking forward to it.”
Martin and Gers will make further defensive signings on the agenda ahead of the Champions League qualifiers in Motherwell’s Panathinaikos and Scottish Premier League openers.
Leicester City centre-back Conor Coady opened to the Rangers after contact, while Liverpool’s Owen Beck was another transfer target. The talks were thought to be started by the Rangers, and new updates have appeared.

According to Daveocop, “The Wanderer has now raised interest in the 22-year-old.”
Liverpool have held talks with Baker to extend the contract and loan him, while the Rangers are interested in the permanent deal for the left back.
Baker last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers and won the Young Season Player Award after 24 titles. During his time at Ewood Park, Baker also performed loan spells at Famalicao, Bolton Wanderers and Dundee United.
Scout Jacek Kulig is actually described as “spectacular” and he also compared him to Andy Robertson when he was at Liverpool’s Academy.
Elsewhere, former Liverpool U21 coach Barry Lewtas calls Baker “the consistent performer” in 2022. “I think Owen is great. The progress he has made during his time at the academy, but it’s certainly the last few years that his job is what he does [and] How he is his coach because he listens and grasps the information we give him. He has become the one who really consistently performed and, in my opinion, is a great player against the Derby. ”
