Staring at all the pastries inside the Oakmont Bakery, Pennsylvania – I want to write two clues to the story.
Of course, there are no doubt at least twelve numbers to mark the place I am currently stationed – Oakmont Bakery, the box is filled with 12 donuts that fly out of the joints almost as quickly as they can make once they face the 12 donuts aligned behind the store’s glass counter. It’s the second day of America’s weirdest opening hours, and I’m still trying to understand it all – because even the winner has multiple storylines and even two four-word spells.
I ended up revolving around his thoughts when I looked back at JJ Spaun’s days Make golf a golf For him, it means golf no longer needs to be covered all, and by purchasing it, he essentially exhale. But I also like some advice to Spaun’s coach Adam Schriber, who told Pro when he left Oakmont’s range this The story with it.
Schriber also told his men to deflate in more creative English.
He said, “Let that f*cker go.”
After Sunday, I asked Schriber what this means.
“It’s just believing it, do you know what I mean?” he said.
“The last thing I said to him when I went out was not regretful, right? No. What we wouldn’t want to know.”
Amen.
As we look back on the past U.S. Open Week, let’s take a look at No. 1. We will try more 49 times, and Oakmont Bakery caffeine and sugar will take us home.
2. Let’s talk about Spaun again. Here is another quote I like, and this is one from his post-press conference where he talks about playing the first six holes in five of five holes:
JJ Spaun’s career changed at the U.S. Open. 1 Life-changing action brings him there
go through:
Nick Pistowski
“I think it’s just perseverance. I’ve been struggling to get to what I need to do and get to where I want. I’ve done it before.
“A little bit like a little pattern, so hopefully I won’t do this pattern again.”
3. Spaun was also very good, answering a question about his two daughters Emerson and Violet:
“My daughter always asks me every time Dad plays golf, she’s saying, ‘Are you a winner today?’ Sometimes I think, “Yes, I am. “She was like, “Where is my surprise?” “So today she’s like “your winner today”. She doesn’t have to ask me, it’s a really interesting moment.”
4. Speaking of his daughter, his youngest Violet fell ill on Sunday morning and his dad was in CVS at 6 a.m.
“Well, okay, my wife got up at 3 am and she was like, violet was vomiting. She couldn’t let anything fall. It was a tough start. I didn’t blame it in the beginning, but it was a good fit for the model of what happened, the mess that I didn’t really go home. Anyway, it was a good thing.
5. On Monday, the story went on a tour and CVS congratulated on Twitter, as shown below.
Big congratulations @jjspaun At the US Open! 🏆From the early CVS run to the clutch putter – Your grinding pays off in the best way. ⛳

6. Where is Spaun’s shot in the 17 ranking? I didn’t see it on TV – I’m with him – but know that if he missed his place a little bit, Robert MacIntyre is your winner today.
7. Where is the putters in the 18th ranking of Spaun? How many attempts does he need to make to achieve it again? How many attempts does a bogey golfer need? Excellent.
8. Where is the Circle Ranking of Spaun? At the end of Sunday, it seemed like a few days ago, didn’t it?
9. I think Spaun will win the grand prize again. He won the players this year, his game is about half a foot short, and Oakmont is probably the hardest course a professional player will take.
10. Spaun does look like Jordan Peele, doesn’t it? You can judge yourself below.
11. I insisted that Justin Thomas won the open title at Royal Porthush.
12. Of course, I also say Bryson DeChambeau will win the U.S. Open.
13. Let’s talk about runner-up McIntyre. He watched the video of Spaun winning putts, and the sentence was great, and gave Golf’s James Colgan:
“He won the golf tournament. Fair play. I mean, he dreamed. I dreamed. Everyone dreamed about that moment. Let him pour the winning putt, I mean, there’s nothing I can do. Fair play.”
14. Full disclosure: On a table inside the Oakmont bakery, I actually measured the distance between clapping.
15. I always felt that Viktor Hovland was in about five years of really, really good golf.
16. I’ve been thinking about Cam Young, too.
17. and Sam Burn.
18. Adam Scott’s view on Whoa! is interesting. His match partner Burns, Burns, had received a temporary water relief on the 15th after a delay in Sunday’s rain.
“I’m also thinking about asking. It’s not playable. The water is like it’s so close to the ground. Like the shot I hit on 11, it’s weird. I just don’t know. It’s like the hydroopal on the ground. He tried to hit the 5th iron, and I think on 15th, I guess it was a tough call, but we all played.
19. Golf’s Sean Zak travelled with the group and said Burns thought he was a rule official and Burns asked him to make a ruling.
20. I think in the tweet below, Kevin van Valkenburg, who I don’t think was laid out, perfectly sums up my thoughts on Scott’s fight.
When I was in my 20s, when a man in his 40s started fighting for majors: lol. Cool story, brother.
This happened when I was in my 40s: He was the bravest man ever, fighting time, fighting for all of us, a hero, legend, and I dare say it was a living God.

twenty one. OK, let’s try to describe the Oakmont bakery. I’m going to type on the far right end of the store, in front of me, on the right are four metal shelves with cupcakes and cookies, and in front of me, on the left are eight metal shelves with bread. There are 16 (!) glass boxes on the register, holding donuts, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, bagels, rolls and bread.
It’s heaven.
twenty two. It has never slowed down since I came here. My Uber driver said on the way that they have recently expanded their stores and parking lots.
twenty three. Tyrrell Hatton responded to Spaun’s putt in an interview after the round. You can watch it below.
twenty four. Scottie Scheffler won seventh place in the obvious search, showing his abilities.
As you can see below, his kid can swing it too.
25. Rory McIlroy doesn’t speak or talk to reporters and doesn’t bother me at all.
But this should frustrate you. The relationship between athletes should not be difficult to understand.
26. The club tossing below is magical. I think I’ve re-watched 50 times.
27. The club shown below makes me laugh.
28. Did we see the last one of Phil Mickelson at the U.S. Open?
Let’s express this problem in another way:
Do you think his myriad thoughts about the governing bodies and the people he moved to Liv Golf would get special waivers from the USGA?
29. I was still stunned that he did not hit safety at 17 on Friday. And I was not stunned. Mickelson has no other way to exit.
30. You’re a good guy, Wyndham Clark. You are a good player. You’re happy to talk to it. You’re happy to be angry occasionally.
But next time, kick your schoolbag.
31. Let’s talk about Oakmont. I don’t think I’m going to break the 150 on Sunday.
32. I prefer 3 more than 3 longer.
33. I split on the roughness. Yes, don’t hit it there. But, did you shoot it down to the only place where you chop it? Even in the bunker, you can push towards the ball.
34. The following tweet made me laugh.
35. From above, the church bench bunker looks… hard. Looking at them, I wonder if every beginner in this course hits from there and if their balls end up there.
36. The highway through central Oakmont is shocking. The course is unique. However, the semi-final buzz on a few holes is constant.
37. I love the idea of our staple courses and the fact that Oakmont will be held again soon. However, I also want a place where wildcards are open every eight years or so.
38. On Tuesday night, we competed in the Pittsburgh Pirates, which was my first time at PNC Park. Is this the best place to watch the competition professionally? Great sight. Delicious food and drinks.
But there is no such a great team. Oh well.
39. Here are some of my favorite readings this week, please visit the live Golf.com staff. Judging by my personal batch, I do like my story of victory over Spaun.
40. Judging by Michael Bamberger, Phil Mickelson is his favorite.
41. Judging from Alan Bastable, Philip Barbaree Jr.’s appearance is a favorite.
42. From Josh Berhow, this is the look of Brooks Koepka.
43. From James Colgan, this is a favorite of Arnold Palmer’s house.
44. From Dylan Dethier, Palmer’s interview is a favorite.
45. From Claire Rogers, this decline in the remote moment is a favorite.
46. From Johnny Wunder, the bag setup is a favorite.
47. Starting from Sean Zak, his story about playing Erin Hills and Oakmont is a favorite.
48. The tweet below is great and you can read more about the story by clicking here.
49. I have a new favorite golfer who is below.
50. Tonight, I stopped at the church brewery in Pittsburgh, which, as the name suggests, is a brewery inside an old church.
It sounds like Nirvana.
51. There is one more.
;)
Sara Ziegler
The above proof I was there, which was captured by my wife back home, and he joked that I ruined a spaun family moment, so I apologized for it.
Editor’s Note: The author also wrote 50 observations of the Masters and PGA champions. These stories can be found here and here.
