Like all gaming pro champions, PGA champions have steadily grown their wallet sizes over the past few years. Just five years ago, in 2020, the total wallet was $11 million. This figure jumped to $12 million in 2021, $15 million in 2022, $17.5 million in 2023, and $18.5 million in 2024.

The total wallet for the PGA Championship this week is $19 million. While that seems like a coveted sum, it is still $1 million worse than last week’s signature event at the Truist Championship. The player champion remains the richest wallet in golf, grabbing $25 million.
The winner of the 2025 PGA Championship will receive a prize of $3.42 million, with each of the top three clearing the seven figures. The six-digit number will be paid to No. 32.
