Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is now personally eager for the Gunners to sign Premier League rivals stars, and the transfer goals are also “pushing” to leave this summer.
Mikel Arteta’s rumors shift ideas to strengthen Arsenal
Arteta recently had to confirm with the media that he and new sporting director Andrea Berta are on the same page in the club’s recruitment strategy, some reports of the two’s disagreements.

Arsenal will likely find their new Aaron Ramsey this season.
Naturally, despite Berta’s arrival from Atlético Madrid, the North Londoner undoubtedly improved this after 12 years of success with La Liga, but Arteta will have his own ideas on how to strengthen his side this summer.

Journalist Simon Phillips even reported last week that Arteta wants Arsenal to sign RB Leipzig Starlet Benjamin Sesko after Slovenia International rejected their progress last year.
The 43-year-old, according to Spanish media sources and an admirer of Athletic Bilbao attack midfielder Oihan Sancet, has scored 17 goals in all matches and may have left Bilbao due to its £67 million issuance clause.
Now, weekly Chelsea winger Christopher Nkunku has also attracted Arteta’s personal attention, according to The Sun and journalist Anthony Chapman.
Despite scoring 14 goals in all games, the French International was not the main pillar of Enzo Maresca, which led to reports that Nkunku was following the exit of Stamford Bridge when the windows reopened.
Mikel Arteta thinks Christopher Nkunku will be a good Arsenal signature
Chapman reports that Arsenal is “queuing” for the multi-purpose forward, who can play almost anywhere in offense third place.
Arteta also allegedly sees Nkunku as a potential “good” signing for Arsenal this summer.
One thing worth noting is that unless he has a high salary, Nkunku may be a fairly clear deal. Chelsea has apparently set its price at around £35m and is willing to lose by sending him out of the door, just two years after he signed him for £52m.
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry praised the sensation in former RB Leipzig in 2022, acknowledging at the time that Nkunku was the player he liked to watch, and it seems Ateta completely agreed. Of course, it remains to be seen whether Chelsea is willing to sell their direct competitors.
