Stars win 5 goals in third place, beat the Oilers 6-3 in Game 1 – Hockey Writer – Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars scored five goals in the third stage, including three powerful goals, eliminating a 3-1 deficit and defeating the Edmonton Oilers 6-3 in the Western Conference Final Wednesday night.

Tyler Seguin, Miro Heiskanen, Mikael Granlund, Matt Duchene and Esa Lindell scored for the stars, while Jake Oettinger made 24 saves.

Leon Draisaitl, Ryan Nugent Hopkins and Evan Bouchard scored for the Oilers, while Stuart Skinner made 22 saves.

Game review

Draisaitl scored his first goal in the series at 10:19 in the opening period. Draisaitl scored his puck at the Dallas Blue Line, speeding up the right board and beating the Oettinger Blocker side for his sixth goal in the playoffs.

Five minutes later, Seguin hit the game with a steal, beating Skinner gloves.
