It will be difficult to replace me in Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski believes that Barcelona will be difficult to replace him when they leave Catalonia.

The Polish international has one year left for Barcelona contract and has not decided what to do in 12 months.

If he chooses to move on, he thinks it may be a problem to find a natural successor.

Lewandowski, 36, spent three seasons at Barca, scoring 101 goals in 147 games during that period, including 42 of the recently completed campaign.

He told Mundo Deportivo: “I haven’t seen many players so far, they’ve been all in two or three years and scored over 40 goals. That’s why I think the overall goal level has dropped, as I saw last season.

“That’s why it’s not easy, I’m talking about a player who’s not just scoring [that amount of goals for] One or two seasons, but three, four, five and more. ”

The names of Erling Haaland of Manchester City and Viktor Gyokores of Sports CP were put on Lewandowski, but he did not specifically provide them with a dedicated Namecheck in his reply, adding: “In the end, you have to have the perfect solution for the club or coach or the system you want, found in Soccer, in Soccer.

Lewandowski refuses to reveal his future

As for his own future, Lewandowski said it was too early to speculate.

“I have to say, now I don’t know,” he said. “I’m fine physically, I’m fine mentally. I can say what I want to do, but we’re talking about it for about a year or more now. [in the future]that’s a lot.

“In football, three months, one week, two weeks is a long time. But now I think the most important thing is that I am preparing for a very good season.

“I know a lot of people are watching me because of my age, not because of the performance on the court. Maybe I played well but didn’t score, so why [bring up] My age? For example, if I don’t play well, it’s normal and I can’t do anything. ”

The former Bayern Munich star has not ruled out extending his spell in Barca and playing the role of an old politician in a prominent team of young talents.

He said: “I think I have enough time to decide what to do after the next season. I can play at the same level as last season.

“For example, there is another thing beyond football, for example, that can eventually change my mind. That’s why I think it’s too early to think of these things.

“I’m sure I’ll be in good health. We’re preparing for this season for a few weeks. I really like this team and I’m very proud to be able to play.”

Lewandowski Hail flashes

Barcelona won the Cup and La Liga in their first year under the charge of boss Boss Hansi Flick, and Lewandowski gave a look at how his Germans at Barca worked to adapt to Barca’s life.

“When Hansi arrived, I talked to him and explained how I viewed the situation at this club,” Lewandowski said.

“It’s not easy for the coach, I think Hansi talks with all the players and he knows that if we want to win a championship, we need players at their best. That’s why I think a lot of players this season are playing at their best.

“I think it might be harder next season after this season, but if you prepare these things mentally, I believe we can play more experience and it will be easier in the end. But of course, of course, every competitor wants to win our victory now and we have to prepare for it.”
