Ontario Ruling Head Coach Marco Sturm Has been appointed as the new head coach of the Boston Bruins.
Sturm has served as the head coach of Ontario for the past three seasons, bringing them to the Calder Cup playoffs every year. In 2024-25, Domination ranked third in the Pacific Division with 43-25-3-1 (90 points). Last season, Ontario won two playoff series and reached the finals.
Sturm previously worked as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Kings from 2018 to 2022, including returning to the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs. He was the head coach of the German national team from 2015 to 2018, leading to the program winning the silver medal at the 2018 Olympics and winning the 2015 championship in 2015, and winning the 2015 quarterly and winning the 2016 quarterly and winning the 2016 championship.
