Man Utd replaces £67m of gyokeres in negotiations

United have taken some key moves in the transfer market over the past few weeks, with Matheus Cunha completing his move to Old Trafford by 2025/26.

Forward Viktor Gyokeres can join the Brazilian at the club.

He has registered 54 goals in 52 appearances throughout 2024/25, and over the past few months he has developed a strong interest in his service, with the Red Devils only interested in his signature.

He will be willing to turn to Old Trafford this week, where Arsenal runs for the 27-year-old during the season.

However, the club should go beyond the Gillic move and prioritize another amulet move to help the club reach a new level in the near future.

Manchester United finds new strikers this summer

Although the window was only opened on Sunday, Manchester United didn’t waste time pursuing the choice to help Amorim’s side in the last third of Old Trafford.

Antoine Semenyo, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Liam Delap have been on radar in recent weeks, but he missed the latter after he agreed to a £30m deal with Premier League rival Chelsea.

However, they can move to Nanapoli forward Victor Osimhen, who has been on loan this season with Turkey’s team Galatasaray, making 41 appearances in 37 in all games.

Corriere del Mezzogiorno confirmed through a report from sports witnesses that the Red Devils have been linked to the Serie A Federation (The Cerie A) with a deal with the Nigerians, which has a release clause of 75 million euros (£67 million) in the current deal.

Amorim’s team may be pursuing at the age of 26 after rejecting a proposal from Saudi side Al Hilal and competed in his iconic massive competition this summer.

Why Manchester United’s £67m goal could be a great signing for Amorim

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been a player who has caused the Premier League in the past few seasons, often a nuisance to countless forced forces.

The Norwegian played 121 times for Pep Guardiola in his 142 appearances, with his six efforts playing in eight games against Manchester United.

Such talent does not appear often, and the Red Devils have previously passed the opportunity to land amulets under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

For years, Hylander has undoubtedly been one of Europe’s most dangerous strikers, highlighting the mistakes United made when not taking action for the 24-year-old boy.

But this all could change with the name of United’s latest target, Osimhen, has been called “even better” by agent Andrea D’Amico in recent months.

A wider trio inside FFC

While delving into their respective statistics this season, the Nigerian managed to improve him in many key areas and supported what seemed far-fetchedly stated.

Throughout 2024/25, Osimhen scored more goals than Haaland, while also posting a higher goal-rate shooting percentage – showing the clinical advantage he has over the Norwegian in front of goals.

He also won nearly three times the air battle and posted a higher success rate in such a division – he lacked focus since picking up the Ins rope.

Lender dominance has not stopped there, completing nearly two charges in 2024/25 and has all-around skills that will strengthen the Old Trafford offensive division.

Osimhen’s £67m transfer seems steep after already rising to £62.5m this summer, but that’s based on the numbers this season to change the side.

If he takes action and approaches the level that Hyrude produces in England’s top flight, it would be an absolute bargain – bringing the club close to their former glory.
