The Ottawa Senator and the Anaheim Ducks may be the teams that stars explored the idea. If they moved Robertson, could they hope to fill the hole with the pending UFA Mitch Marner?
The stars will get harder and can consider the unsolved defensive player Aaron Ekblad. His right-handed shot will be a good addition to their top four.

Ben Steiner of daily standoff: Dallas Stars’ estimated cap space for next season is less than $5 million, pending UFAs in Jamie Benn, Matt Duchene and Mikael Granlund’s UFA.
Tyler Yaremchuk and Frank Seravalli discussed the star’s situation this week in Daily Face to Face to Live.
Seravalli said it was hard to see either of them return given their current cap situation. If they want to re-sign anything, they will need to pay the money.
Yaremchuk added Duchene’s expected $7 million, perhaps a three-year contract (he scored 82 points last season). Benn is probably the cheapest resignation.
According to Seravalli, Jason Robertson may be Jason Robertson.
