Ottawa alleges hosting Montreal Victoire for Game 5 of the 2024-25 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season. Both teams lost money and they were competing to return to the Victory column. The charges won 3-1. This is also Ottawa’s first victory against Montreal this season.
Game review
The first phase nine minutes, the charges opened up scoring for both teams. Emily Clark was able to recover the puck from Victoire when he tried to pull the puck out of the charge’s offensive zone. She sent a pass to Stephanie Markowski in front of the net. From one side of the post, she sent a shot and scored her first goal of the PWHL season.
Enter the first one at 12:54, the first fine is called. Dara Grieg took the seat and Ottawa competed in their first power match. Vidor was able to kill the fine, and Montreal recovered his full strength until the end of the period.
Six minutes after the second phase, the charges were subject to their first fine. Gabbie Hughes sat and slammed, and Victoire won the extra player advantage. They took advantage of the opportunity quickly. Claire Dalton puts the puck behind the net. She sent a pass to Marie-Philip Poulin, who missed the net. Victoire received his second fine for the game after the third and seven minutes. Mariah Keopple sat on the hook and charge gained an extra woman advantage again. They were unable to capitalize and were quickly fined for themselves. Ronja Savolainen SAT boards the plane, Victoire tries to achieve it with a 5-to-4 goal, but that’s not the case. Vidowell is desperate to tie the game. They had two minutes left to pull Days Beans. Despite their attempts to make a scoring attempt, Clark relaxed the puck and sent it onto the ice and into the empty net. Clark had two goals and an assist, and scored a point on each goal of the game to help win.
Next
Victoire will be back home on Tuesday, February 25 to receive Toronto Scepter. The charge will remain at home and host the New York siren on Wednesday, February 26.
