Kompany Cool after the record breaks

Viselic is proud of his players

It was a tough afternoon for Auckland, and despite the obvious quality gap, they were worth mentioning the battle until the end.

Interim coach Ivan Vicelich said: “This is the reality of football against one of the top teams in the world.

“For players from the amateur level, playing in this environment is a dream.

“We knew it would be a very tough game, playing against one of the top teams in the world, which is probably one of the club’s World Cup favorites, so we are very proud of the players’ efforts.”
