The Wanderer window rises when Cameron unveils
Russell Martin is currently preparing for his first Scottish Premier League season at Ibrox, with players holding early Champions League qualifiers ahead of the pre-season season on Monday.
However, in the transfer market, 49 people want to add their new managers to the window. A move to reach an agreement before Martin arrived, and the 49ers officially took over Lyall Cameron’s contract booking agreement, while the midfielder was with Dundee’s Rangers.
Cameron unveiled Tuesday as a new Rangers player after a great 2024/25 campaign, which gave him 14 goals and provided nine assists. Cameron said of his recent performance:
“My numbers are beneficial to a midfielder from a personal point of view, so I liked it this way, but honestly, it wasn’t a day without hardships. We got a lot of bad results and we hung at the bottom of the league where no one wanted to. It was a learning process. I feel like I learned a lot on Dundee, which can benefit me in my career.
“I’ve been playing in Scotland for three years and I know what else would bring to me, and that’s a good thing for me. It’s good for me. Playing for the Rangers is completely different, you dominate in Dundee and I might not like it very much, but I think my game is right for my game so I can show what I can show.”

Rangers next sign “Great Athlete” who may be Ryan Kent 2.0
The Wanderer has had many outstanding loan players in Ryan Kent Springs for years, and they have reached a deal to introduce another.
Along with the midfielder, there are also close ties with AFC Bournemouth right-back Aarons, even suggesting that a verbal agreement has been reached and the British’s loan relocation is approaching.
However, there have been new updates for the defender who has been cited as Jefte.
Sky Sports reporter Mark McAdam provides the latest news on the Wanderer’s attempt to sign Aarons on Tuesday.
He said the Rangers have already made connections for the 25-year-old, but when the Gers are considering a loan deal for the £20,000 weekly defender, Bournemouth prefers a permanent transfer.
Aaron’s Vitality Stadium under Andoni Iraola seems unpopular, but is still contracted on the South Coast until 2029. So, the move could be complicated as Cherries are seeking to pay most of the £7 million for Aarons.
One way clubs can negotiate is to include options or obligations to buy Aaron next summer, but at this point a deal doesn’t seem as advanced as previously suggested.
