Valentin Carboni won the final title, breaking Urawa Reds’ heart and moving Inter Milan to the club’s first place in Group E of the World Cup.
It seemed like a frustrating afternoon for the Serie A side, when he fell toiling after the first half opening of Ryoma Watanabe in Seattle.
But Lautaro Martinez scored a spectacular equalizer in a 12-minute journey, and Carboni’s hard work deepened downtime, which was incredible and eliminated the Japanese.
Late drama and a late goal!

Inter Milan served as a part-time player in the first half and did not create many opportunities.
They did waste their chances and despite spending most of their 45 minutes on the back foot, they paid the price with Ulava’s ruthless ruthlessness.
Nerazzurri was light up, only two minutes later, Nicola Zalewski’s cross was a few inches away from Sebastian Esposito.
Inter continued camping on the edge of the Urawa area, but was caught by suckers 11 minutes later.
Watanabe shocked
Takuro Kaneko beat his man, his backing was perfect to beat Watanabe to sweep Yann Sommer.
The International Front had no balls, another goal-scratched battle saw them not reaching a balance after four minutes behind – Luis Henrique and Carlos Augusto denied.
Inter Milan felt more and more frustration, and Martinez approached and a header knocked down from the crossbar.
The second half continued to move forward with a similar attitude and took half of the chance.
Kristjan Asllani fired from the edge of the area, while Federico di Marco made trademark efforts on the bar.
And, as they did in the first half, Urawa posed a threat on the counter.
After 69 minutes, they could have doubled their advantage after Watanabe’s three-on-two break. The forward should have participated in a teammate, but chose to shoot, and his efforts flew over Sommer’s bar.
Martinez and Carboni have a final decision
As Inter Milan’s pressure finally told, this is a critical moment.
There doesn’t seem to be much danger when the other corner flies toward the Ulava area, but Argentine star Martinez somehow produces an elevated kick, flying over goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa and the defender.
77’lautarrrrrrrro! 🚲🐂🇦🇷
Martínez’s incredible strike and @inter It’s level!

It seems Urawa has done enough to get a point of view – and give their hilarious fans something they promised to deserve – only when a swing ball inside the area lands at Carboni’s feet, he puts the shot to the bottom left corner.
