Winning on the PGA Tour is very difficult.
Ask Tommy Fleetwood.
The British and the No. 17 global player have done almost everything in the seven years since he played on the tour – 41 top 10, 5 runner-ups, and nearly $30 million in revenue – besides Win.
Just as Fleetwood was hoping to win his first tour in his sight, New Englander and U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley stole the championship on the final green with a bird that excited his crowd.
Fleetwood entered the 72nd hole and hit his approach, with the second shot not on the front edge of the green. Bradley then glued the wedge to six feet and looked at Fleetwood’s first putt right behind Bradley’s ball mark.
When Fleetwood missed his par effort, he gave Bradley a reading, Captain America buried the putt to defeat the European enemies and won the Travelers championship with an under-15 shot.

Fleetwood tied for second with Russell Henley, who also played in the final group match and stuffed the green left to the green left on the 72nd hole to reach 14. If Bradley missed it, the trio will return to the 18th tee for the three-way playoffs.

Despite the start of shaking in TPC River Heights, Fleetwood seemed to be in control for most of the afternoon. The 34-year-old started the day with a three-shot lead after hitting each court 63 times in the third round and held a straight 21-game winning streak back to Friday.
But Fleetwood pushed his kick-off shot away Sunday and made a bogey. The birdie could have been stable on the second hole as he boasted 3 and 4 on 3 and 4 and led the way for Hartford’s 2023 champion Wit Bradley.
Fleetwood returned to the solo despite having a 37 lead.
Bradley nailed a 64-foot putter for Birdie on the 9th hole, but struggled to maintain momentum. On the 15th, he made another bomb from 35 feet, but still walked to 18th.
Fleetwood is almost his favorite crowd with British charm and iconic shoulder-length locks. But in Connecticut, “USA! US! sounded around the course. When Bradley’s close-up landed in the 18th green, there was no doubt about the crowd’s reaction.
