Germany defeated France 3-0 in the European U21 semifinal, setting up a coveted final against England on Saturday.
Antonio Di Salvo’s team held a 100% record in this year’s game as Nelson Weiper, star forward Nick Woltemade and Brajan Gruda scored a convincing victory in Kosice.
Germany ran out of the trap, and Wepper doubled his country’s lead just eight minutes after Woltemade.
Gruda then put the icing on the cake and found the net deep in the second half of the downtime, holding a meeting of old rivals this weekend.

England had booked their spot on Bratislava’s showdown earlier after a 2-1 win over the Netherlands, and Lee Carsley’s young Lions hope to keep the trophy won two years ago.
But standing on his own way, showing a ruthless streak throughout the game, winning all five games so far, including a 2-1 win over England in the group stage.
In Woltemade, they are arguably the players of the tournament to date. The 23-year-old scored six of his four appearances and contributed three assists – a reward that only attracted further interest in Stuttgart players from European clubs.
