Manchester United has now turned their attention to much-needed sales after spending a lot on Matheus Cunha and Soon Bryan Mbeumo, and is reportedly negotiating the departure of the star on week-by-week.

After finishing 15th and not qualifying for European football, many expect Manchester United to endure a tough summer transfer window. So far, this has not been the case.

Instead, Ineos has been rushing for cash – first to welcome Cunha for £63m and then continue to offer offers worth over £60m to sign Brentford’s Mbeumo. But it is unlikely that these arrivals have not sacrificed this summer.

On the front of the exit, the Red Devils have to be busy, opening the exit door for several players – starting with Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford. Both players will almost certainly leave Old Trafford this summer, but there are still questions on their destinations to come.

In an ideal world, Aston Villa will have finances signing a permanent deal for Rashford after a successful lending bill in the second half of last season, but the reality is that their PSR issues are likely to provide barriers in any potential deal.

Instead, reports suggest that Manchester United may be forced to rely on influx of interested parties such as Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Garnacho’s next destination may be closer this summer due to interest from Premier League rival Chelsea. The Blues are reportedly likely to call on the players Ruben Amorim desperately wants, even the Blues.

Whether it’s Rashford, Garnacho or a £200,000 per week star, the Red Devils have to do a massive clearance before the summer transfer window ends.

Manchester United now negotiates “complex” Anthony’s exports

As Real Betis chief Manu Fajardo reveals, Manchester United is now participating in “complex” negotiations, selling Anthony to the Spanish club in a big deal this summer. The winger experienced a revival spell at Betis in the second half of last season and is now eager to complete La Liga’s return.

Farjardo told local reporters that it was conveyed by Sport witnesses: “We all have to realize that this is a very complicated operation. Given the level of the player and his recent career at Real Betis, it’s not easy.

“But as long as Anthony does not promise a third party, we play our cards with the greatest humility in order to be able to choose Anthony. I insist that although this is a complex action, we will try to do it differently without damaging the club.”

As Betis Sports Director reiterated, signing Anthony is not an easy task – especially since his weekly salary is £200,000 – but that is what they are still negotiating this summer.
