Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch expressed concerns about hosting the ceremony after losing to the Thunder.
Minnesota’s Timberwolves lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 130-123. Given how they performed, this was a disappointing loss for the Timberwolves.
Anthony Edwards performed well, with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Naz Reid continued to do a great job in Julius Randle’s absence, with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks.
But that’s not enough to hit a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The loss puts the Timberwolves as a defender, who now ranks seventh in the Western Conference with a record of 31-27.
But, at least, according to Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch, the loss doesn’t come down to being better at the Thunder.

Chris Finch convenes the host
Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch spoke about the host of the game in a post-match press conference.
He noted that it is very important for a basketball brand that teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder play, and officials have brought them a lot of calls, which makes things very difficult.
“Obviously, I’m also frustrated with the referees. We have to try to refocus. It’s a tough team, Oklahoma City.”
“They’re physical on one end. On the other hand, they seem to create a lot of contact on the offense and benefit from it. It can be frustrating.”
“I sometimes think about it early in the game and again in the third quarter, and it’s hard for us. Just try the next game.”
The Timber Wolves committed 22 individual fouls in the game and entered the free throw line 28 times. By comparison, Thunder reached only 20 free throw lines.
Therefore, given that Finch seems to benefit from the whistle rather than the thunder, it is difficult to see where Finch comes from.

Minnesota Timberwolves struggle in the West
The Timberwolves of Minnesota were one of the best teams at the Eastern Conference last year. But things have changed dramatically since the deal with Karl-Anthony Towns.
