Arsenal now takes a way to sign ‘incredible’ £40million mosquito alternative

Journalist Sami Mokbel said Arsenal had a specific interest in the “incredible” alternative to Cristhian Mosquera and now they have made efforts in potential deals.

Mikel Arteta has one of the best centre-back duo, and he praised William Saliba and Gabriel last season, showing that defenders complement each other.

Speaking of Saliba, Sky Sports experts said: “I think he is one of the highest centre-backs in European football. As a partnership, he and Gabriel are as good as anything in the Premier League.

“I think Saliba is a better player, but Gabriel is a better leader and if he wants to get to the level we talked about with Virgil Van Dijk, it needs to bring it into his game.”

But with Gabriel missing from the back end after the campaign due to injury, Arteta’s choice was a bit underwhelmed, with Jakub Kiwior filling it out, suggesting that the centre-back could go deeper into the extra power this summer.

Mosquitoes have become the main target of Arteta’s alternative choice for Gabriel and Saliba, and the Gunners are expected to bid on the 21-year-old, but they have now taken an alternative move.

According to Mokbel, in a BBC Sports report, reporters said Arsenal has now taken a way to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, who is expected to receive fees in the £40m region this summer.

North Londoners had a specific interest in Guehi, and he made preliminary inquiries, but their interest might have cooled down and now their attention is shifting to the mosquitoes.

Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle United also retained interest in the Palace Captain, so it may be difficult to reach a deal if the Gunners decide to take action.

Given whether the England international is eager to move to the UAE Stadium, given that it’s difficult for him to force him into the starting XI, there are signs that he may be more appropriate than the mosquito, which remains to be seen.

Crucially, the Palace star has already had experience in the Premier League and has been a key player for the Hawks for years, and over the past year, he has also performed well on some key defensive metrics.

Guehi was praised by media members as “incredible” which could be a brilliant signing for Arsenal, but if that means Gabriel or Saliba gets less time, then the move of the established centre-back could lead to turmoil.
