Thursday turned out to be a record day for PGA National’s Championship course. Jake Knapp stood out in the first round, breaking the course record with 59-shots below 59. It represents only the 15th time in PGA Tour history below 60 rounds.

The glittering performance also gave Knapp a four-shot lead and entered the second round on Friday. Three players, including Daniel Berger, ranked second with fewer than eighth. Rickie Fowler tied for seven points with a second-tier team, while Jordan Spieth would start the second round with six points.
You can watch the second round of Cognitive Classic on TV via the Golf Channel, which will be aired from 2pm on Friday. ESPN+’s PGA Tour Live will offer exclusive early coverage and a second round of group streaming reports starting at 6:45 a.m. ET.

The golf channel will provide a second round of television coverage on Friday at 2025 Cognizant Classic on Palm Beach at 2-6 pm ET.
