The Anaheim Ducks headed to Edmonton to tilt on Tuesday night (March 4) against the Oilers at Rogers Place. The showdown in this Pacific division allowed the Ducks to remove the Oilers 6-2. Anaheim scored six unresolved goals to complete the road frustration. This is a compelling victory, so here is your game review.
Game review
Edmonton started the power play midway through the first stage. Connor McDavid dragged around the defender and found Leon Draisaitl’s single game in his 45th league lead this season.
Anaheim tied the game up a few minutes later. Draisaitl flipped the puck over and it landed on the Leo Carlsson’s stick, which quickly beat goalkeeper Calvin Pickard Blocker side. Anaheim was then led by Mason McTavish. His lawyers against him beat the Oiler’s Cyber in his 15th season of the season. The Ducks have a 1:34 lead in the period. Sam Colangelo redirected the points shot and started at the Oilers’ defender and went into the net. 12 seconds later, the Ducks scored 4-1 with McTavish’s second game. Anaheim won a hockey battle, and McTavish had no doubt about it. Rogers Place was shocked as the road team led 4-1 into the break. Picard was pulled and replaced by Stuart Skinner.

When the duck continues to pour it into the middle frame at 5-1, 13:22. Ryan Strome redirected Jackson Lacombe’s centered pass. They brought the lead from that command to the locker room.
The third stage begins with Alex Killorn scoring in a breakthrough game, and the lockdown side enters the period during his 12th season of season 12. Less than a minute later, the Oilers won the second strong goal of the game 6-2. McDavid worked hard to drive the net at his own speed and then slid the puck under goalkeeper Lukas Dostal’s mat. Lacombe received three assists, both of whom were five with Radko Gudas. Draisaitl, Matt Savoie and Brett Kulak were a rotten negative 4, and Anaheim beat Edmonton 6-0 with a 5-5 score. Dostal was excellent in this game, stopping 33 in 35 to win a savings percentage (SV%) of .943. He was the only Duck Net to beat Edmonton over the past five seasons.
The Ducks had a short turnaround time at the end of their mini two-way road trip against the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday (March 5). Meanwhile, the Oilers will continue to play three games in three games against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday (March 6).
