The New Jersey Devils travel to Texas on Tuesday, March 4 to face the Dallas Stars. Even though the game ended up being a nail, the star scored only four seconds in the final goal of the night. The star defeated the victory 4-3 and beat the Devils’ season series.
Injury is being encountered
The Devil is already dealing with the damage and another appeared in the game last night. Until the first stage, Dougie Hamilton collided with Dallas player Mason Marchment. Hamilton was sent to the board of directors with difficulty. He raised his head from the ice, so it seemed that he had injured one leg. Hamilton finished the remaining two minutes of the first stage on the bench, but he did not return for the rest of the game. The Devil completed the final two periods of the game, with only five defenders on the ice.
The Devil is already in a defensive player with Jonas Siegenthaler. He last played against the Devils against the Pittsburgh Penguins on February 4. He suffered an undisclosed low body injury in this game and has never been in the competition since. He is currently in the Reserve Service for a Long-Term Injured (LTIR). Since the Devils are already in a strong defensive player in Siegenthaler, they are also unable to lose Hamilton at this time.

Not only is the defense struggling, but the forwards are the same. The match against the stars is the first game of the 2024-25 season that Jack Hughes must not miss. He suffered upper body damage to the Vegas Golden Cavaliers on Sunday, March 2. He is still under evaluation. His injuries have not been updated yet.
Only time will tell the damage of Hamilton and Hughes. Hopefully they both recover soon and will be back on the ice with the team soon.
Stage 3 is very strong, but not enough
Although the third stage started with a two-target deficit, the Devil still scored a draw.
With seven minutes left on the game, Jesper Bratt sent a pass to Luke Hughes at the Blue Line. He made a tough shot and Nico Hischier was able to throw it into the net.
