After a lot of waiting, the end is nearby. “Happy Gilmore 2” finally has an official release date.
Golf fans who have been waiting for months to hear the expected sequel can now look forward to: Wednesday, July 25, on Netflix.
There are many rumors about when Netflix will release the movie. John Daly stirred up the water when the film was suggested to be released around the Masters in April. Adam Sandler, star who plays Gilmore, suggests that summer 2025 is more realistic, perhaps around July 4.
Well, it will appear on Netflix a little later, which arrives after the open championship. It will feature a large number of golf celebrities.
As we’ve seen in various promotional materials, Happy Gilmore 2 will include numerous tour stars, from Rory McIlroy to Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau. The film was shot in 2024, with many golf course scenes filmed in the fall of the Golf Club in New Jersey.

The film is a studio owned by Pro Shop, a media company invested by PGA Tour, and a company co-founded by Chad Mumm, executive producer of other Netflix golf properties.
It’s no surprise that the start of season 3 is the behind-the-scenes report on filming day. Included are the following summary of golfers: Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, Jordan Spieth, Keegan Bradley, Keegan Bradley, Bubba Watson, Bubba Watson, Will Zalatoris and Tony Finaauu.

Does this mean they will all make final layoffs? No. But many of them will certainly be included in some way, at least for Justin Thomas, no work at all.
“I mean, that movie, that generation of movies actually came up with us, and I realized how many Adam Sandler words I used in my daily life when I was with him because I obviously felt uncomfortable saying around him, it was when I realized he was part of my childhood and more than I realized. It was a really cool experience.”
