After being called “a talent from generation to generation” by media members, there are many signs that the England International may be a wonderful long-term signing for the Blues.
But given that Walton signs through the summer of 2029, the palace should maintain a strong negotiating position for the time being, which means they don’t need them to deliver on it in the near future.
