Lucknow Supergiants owner Sanjeev Goenka had lively chat with captain Kuala Lumpur Rahul During IPL 2024. Prior to this, Goenka did share a picture of the two and called Rahul “family,” but the two traded digs at each other both before and for some time after the auction.
Talking about the matter again, Goenka once again called Rahul “family” and added that the Bengaluru-born is very talented and hoped that the cricketer fulfills his potential. He also wished the wicketkeeper-batsman good results in the upcoming Indian Premier League as well as the Indian team and wished him all the best in his new journey.

Notably, Delhi Capitals signed Rahul for Rs 14 crore ahead of IPL 2025. A decision is expected to be taken before the IPL season. Meanwhile, Rahul is currently representing India in the series against Australia. His impressive performance in the first Test in the absence of Rohit Sharma helped the cricketers retain his place in the starting XI for the second match.
His failure to contribute enough in the Adelaide Test sparked speculation of his return to No. 6, but the Indian team is likely to back him in the opener at the Gabba.
