On Thursday, the Carlos Alcaraz Foundation officially opens lospis enlatira (Ones Feet on the Ground) exhibition aims to highlight the importance of equal opportunities for children.
In an exciting evening, on the terrace of the Carcel Vieja building, Los Pies en la Tierra offers free admission to the exhibition from December 14 to February 15, with exhibitions by Carlos Alcaraz, Bia Beatriz Garfia, Foundation Director and Murcia Mayor Jose Ballesta.

“I grew up like any other kid in a normal family in El Palma, running around the park with my friends, who went to local schools and didn’t have any luxuries,” Alcaraz said. “I am passionate about sports, especially tennis, but it was a very normal childhood. We are here today and feel very lucky and grateful that we are willing to take action and do our part for children.
“The purpose of this exhibition is to show a reality, a childhood full of challenges. It is a reality that may be invisible or distant to us, but in fact it is very close. It is to raise awareness of human life awareness of the importance of this stage,” said Beatriz Garfia, director of the foundation. “Because individually and collectively, we have a lot to say and we have the power to make an impact. Every small gesture matters and can make a difference in a child’s life.
Alcaraz officially cut the ribbon for the exhibition (which was symbolically hung on a tennis net), and after the opening, guests had the opportunity to tour the exhibition with the tennis player himself and his family.
lospis enlatira Designed for visitors of all ages, it offers an interactive experience through video games, activities and questions. These include some of Alcaraz's most important trophies as well as some surprising items donated by the tennis player.
