Tiger Woods' son Charlie scored his first hole-in-one in the final round of the PNC Championship, but missed out on the title in a playoff.
Bernhard Langer made an eagle putt on the first extra hole to successfully defend his title with his son Jason, and the two teams ended up tied at 28 under.
Charlie's ace came on the fourth hole at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando.
“It's great, I didn't expect it to go in,” Charlie told Golf Channel after holing a 7-iron from 175 yards.
After the match, the teenager added: “Nobody made a mistake today, so it was the most fun I've ever had, and on top of that, hitting an ace. I don't think I can top that.
Tiger added: “This is one of the highlights of our experience.
“He made his first eagle on the previous hole, and now he's just made his first hole-in-one. It's been an amazing two-hole stretch – I'm happy for him and it's been enjoyed by our family. It's fun to be happy.
Woods also had his daughter Sam serve as his caddy as he competed for the first time since back surgery in September, but downplayed the importance of returning to play.
“I’m nowhere near in shape for competition,” the 48-year-old said. “I'm a great scrimmage partner. We've put together a great team this week and that's the fun of the whole process.
About 30 minutes after Charlie Woods made a hole-in-one, Paddy Harrington, the son of three-time major champion Padraig Harrington, also hit on the eighth hole An Ace.
