Whether it's the IIHF World Junior Championship in Ottawa or the Spengler Cup in Switzerland, the rest of the hockey community is paying attention to what's happening in the American Hockey League this week.
Canada's national team, which features 13 current AHL players, swept both Spengler Cup preliminary games on Monday to earn a spot in the semifinals.
