Rybakina and Vukov have had incredible success together, but not without some turmoil. Vukov has been criticized at times for his fiery temper and the way he treated Rybakina during matches. Hall of Famer Pam Shriver speculated that the two had an unhealthy relationship, but Rybakina refuted those claims with a defense of loyalty to her coach.
