If you don’t complete a hole, what scores should you post?

Bad holes happen. You pump the drive into the trees. You pour the iron into the drink. The errors add up, and before you know it, you are picking up instead of popping up. Officially, this is allowed unless you participate in a game that is prohibited. But if you keep a barrier – you should – you need to post a number. This raises the question: What scores should you write down to ensure that you have unfinished holes?

Disability rules also provide guidance on this guide. This is the way to determine the strokes you most likely need.

How to determine your score

If your ball is on green that is no more than 5 feet from the hole, add a stroke. If your ball is on green 5 to 20 feet from the hole, add 2 to 3 shots based on the difficulty of the green and your ability. And if the ball is more than 20 yards away from the hole, add 3 to 4 shots, depending on the difficulty and ability of the shot.

In the past two situations, there is some explanation. For example, would you expect a slippery 15-foot face 10 obstacles golfer? Rational people may disagree. But it is the responsibility of players to evaluate the situation and determine what time they think is most likely to happen more than 50%.

What is the highest score you can get in the hole?

As an additional guarantee, there is another mechanism to ensure that the recorded score is a fair reflection of the ability the player has shown.

This is the limitation of net bogey. The score you record cannot exceed it.

For example, suppose you are 4 strokes, where you will have a stroke. Even if you make a complete hole, the highest score you can write for disability purposes is 7-double taboos, and a shot that you get based on course obstacles.

This seems to be a lot of math. Really not. More importantly, if you publish your score using the hole-by-hole option in the score app, a net double bogey adjustment is automatically applied.
