The Loop is a new full-service PR and marketing communications agency backed by custom golf accessories company PRG Golf.

The Loop will be led by Michael Harris, former Golf Monthly editor and director of future publishing content, along with co-partners Paul O'Hagan, Chris Barrett and Alex Narey.

O'Hagan and Barrett will join the new company later this month from Acushnet Europe, where the former currently serves as FootJoy's marketing manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, while Barrett has led the brand's creative direction in the UK for more than a decade. Meanwhile, Narey – a journalist with more than 20 years’ experience at outlets including Golf Monthly and The Daily Telegraph – brings recent agency experience, having served as content and PR specialist for golf travel and PR Azalea since February 2022. The Loop will fully launch at this month's PGA Show in Orlando, leveraging the team's creative background and deep knowledge of the golf media landscape to provide complete marketing and communications, public relations and representation services.

With over 60 years of combined experience in senior roles in media, design, marketing, sales and communications, The Loop’s collaborative approach will focus on delivering the best creative ideas to create and support engaging, high-quality PR campaigns, primarily around golf equipment fields, apparel and tourism.

In addition to working with brands and destinations, The Loop will differentiate itself from other agencies by focusing on partnership and relationship building, as well as mentoring and management, by hosting events and representing content creators.

To further enhance its offering, The Loop will also produce its own in-house content, headlined by a premium quarterly print journal for consumers, focusing on outstanding stories about people, places and products. The first edition will be launched ahead of the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
