Winnipeg Jets acquire linebacker Isaac Phillips Acquired defensive player from Chicago Blackhawks Dmitry Kuzmin.

The 23-year-old Phillips has played 28 games for the AHL Rockford IceHogs this season, scoring one goal, seven assists and a +8 rating. He also scored one goal in three games with the Blackhawks.

As a fifth-year pro, Phillips totaled 23 goals and 56 assists for 79 points in 199 AHL games with Rockford. He was drafted by Chicago in the fifth round of the 2020 NHL Draft and has contributed 2 goals and 10 assists in 56 career NHL games.

The 21-year-old Kuzmin has played 21 games this season for the Manitoba Moose of the AHL, scoring one goal and adding three assists.

Kuzmin, who was originally drafted by Winnipeg in the third round of the 2021 NHL Draft, has played in 39 AHL games over two professional seasons, totaling two goals and five assists.
