Callaway has invested more than $2 million in research and development of the new Elyte driver line.

As they themselves declare: “The future of performance is Elyte”.

So far, we’ve taken a look at the new Elyte driver itself.

There's also the Elyte X, the most forgiving model in the new range.

Now we'll take you through the third of four different models – the Elyte Max Fast.

So what exactly is Elyte Max Fast?

It's lightweight and forgiving. This is an easy club to swing.

So is this suitable for slow swing golfers?

For golfers with moderate swing speeds, yes.

The Elyte Max Fast features an ultra-lightweight design, including a lightweight shaft and grip, to deliver a driver that's very easy to swing.

How does additional fault tolerance improve driving?

Simple. Ultra-forgiving elements are designed to increase clubhead speed to maximize carry distance.

Will the enhanced sculpting elsewhere in the series help here too?

Exactly. Elyte speed comes with the new Elyte Max Fast styling, which provides Elyte speed with enhanced aerodynamics throughout the golf swing.

This improved shape is designed to maximize swing speed and improve forgiveness and launch conditions.

What about materials?

Callaway said this is “the future of composites.”

The Elyte Max Fast driver features an all-new hot-forged carbon crown – aerospace-grade carbon fiber that enables fast clubhead speed while optimizing launch and spin.

Is there a lot of advanced artificial intelligence involved?

precisely.

Callaway's most advanced artificial intelligence yet delivers optimal distance, control and launch.

The new Ai10x Face offers 10 times more control points than the Ai Smart Face™.

It's designed to generate blazing ball speed, tight dispersion and optimized launch across the face

Finally, what about the details?

The axes are:

Mitsubishi Chemical Vanquish PL
40(R2)

WMS Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio
40 grams (liter)
