DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Britain's Tyrrell Hatton beat New Zealand's Daniel Hillier to win the Dubai Desert Classic by one shot on Sunday.
Overnight leader Hillier birdied the final hole to put pressure on his partner, but Hatton summoned the courage to sink the par putt from seven feet to secure victory.
Hatton shot a 3-under 69 in the final round for a total score of 15 under, beating Hillier (71) and fellow Briton Laurie Kanter (68) to finish third. , fought back again.
