How to watch Houston open on Thursday
If you think you have to wait until the Masters of 2025 to see the best competition for the game, think twice. The world’s top two golfers will play at the Texas Children’s Houston Open Thursday.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and No. 2 Rory McIlroy were both in the field this week. McIlroy has not been in the Houston Open since McIlroy moved to Memorial Park, but last year, Scheffler finished second.
So far, the two players have also performed differently in 2025. Rory has won two Grand Tour victories, while Scheffler is still looking for his first win.
