Montreal Victoire held the New York Siren on April 1 to compete in the second match of the 2024-25 Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season. The Sirens won 1-0. The Siren is now winning two wins with three points.
Game review
With five minutes left in the first phase, Kati Tabin gave a dirty blow to Jessie Eldridge. This is direct contact with the head, and Eldridge’s wake up is slow. She drove along the tunnel with the help of staff and immediately conducted an assessment. Hope she’s fine. Tabin was given a five-minute professional for illegal inspections. In the second phase, the sirens beat Victor Il 15-4. While the sirens cannot find the back of the net, they still lead by one at the end of the second time.
The third stage is full of punishments, and each team wins three. In the third and eight minutes, Sarah Fillier and Mariah Keopple both sat down for roughness. Neither team scored a jailbreak goal, and teammates could be popped out of the box, and the game could be traced back to 5-on-5.
Less than three minutes later, Vidor pulled Elaine Chuli to the extra attacker. With 1:16 left, Allyson Simpson sat down and held it. Although Montreal has six players on the ice compared to the siren’s four, they can’t find a chance to score. The Sirens won 1-0.
PWHL starts rest
Siren and Victor Ire will be competing again after PWHL returns to the International Hockey Federation (IIHF) Championship. The sirens will return to operation on April 26, when they went to participate in the Minnesota frost. Vidor will also participate in Ottawa charges on TD Place on April 26.
