Gourde, who was acquired by Seattle Kraken Lightning on the trade deadline, scored his first goal since rejoining the team.
Point scored another powerful goal when the Chargers led 3-0 to the first midfield game. This is his 40th goal of the season and his third consecutive season to achieve this goal.
Kucherov scored assists in goals and became the fourth player in NHL history, recording 80 assists in three straight seasons. The others are Wayne Gretzky, Paul Coffey and Bobby Orr.
The Rangers cut the deficit by two in the second phase, with a strong goal from Mika Zibanejad. This is Zibanejad’s tenth goal in 15 games against Lightning Netminder Andrei Vasilevskiy.

The point scored again later in the third phase, giving the Chargers a 4-1 lead. Brandon Hagel added an empty net goal to score 5-1.
The loss hindered the Rangers’ chances of entering the playoffs.
