Chelsea is now very keen to sign the “superstar” striker; can submit a £39 million offer
Chelsea are now very keen to sign the “superstar” striker, who may be willing to submit a £39 million service offer, a report shows.
Nicolas Jackson struggles to pursue striker Bruce
The Blues took a hit in Sunday’s Champions League pursuit, succumbing to a surprise of 2-2 against Ipswich Town, who almost certainly would leave the Premier League.
Enzo Maresca will hit two points with his team’s two-pointer against the Tractor Boys, and the manager may also be disappointed with Nicolas Jackson’s performance, while the forwards once again fail to find the back of the net.
Jackson was replaced very late after missing a big chance, but Christopher Nkunku didn’t have time to make much impact, and the Frenchman failed to add his goal score to three in the Premier League.

The Blues tested the water by opening bids to midfielders.
With Jackson and Nkunku both struggling, Maresca is hoping to introduce new forwards this summer, and Liam Delap of Ipswich Town seems increasingly likely to be one of the main targets.
However, according to Offside, Chelsea may also want to bring a striker from abroad, and now they are very keen to sign Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, who can allow them to leave the Italian club this summer.
Juventus may be open, given his huge salary, approving Vlahovic’s departure, which could open the door to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Manchester United also interested in the Serbians.
Serie A hopes to receive €50 million – €55 million (£43 million – £48 million) while Premier League clubs may be willing to submit an offer of €45 million (£39 million) to his service.

Vlahovic may not be the answer to the Chelsea striker’s question
In spells with Fiorentina and Juventus, the Serbian International team’s performance in Italy was very impressive, amassing 86 goals and 17 assists in the 198 Serie A appearance, while his country also had 14 goals.
During his time with La Viola, the 25-year-old was praised by members of the Italian media as a “real superstar” and he has made some impressive performances this season, scoring 19 goals in all competitions.
That said, some performances from the striker over the past year will be concerned that despite an expected average of 0.43, his non-Penalty XG is underperforming, with an average of only 0.31 goals per 90.
So, Vlahovic may not be the answer to the Chelsea striker’s problem, and it’s wise to pursue other goals that will perform better this season, such as sports CP star Viktor Gyokeres.
