Colorado Hawks Jacob MacDonald A defensive player set a historic American Hockey League record in a season, setting a new standard for two goals in a 4-2 loss in Ontario Wednesday night.

McDonald’s 31 goals are almost twice the total of Bakersfield Connor Carrickhe ranked second in the league with 17 goals this season. McDonald also scored 24 assists this season, leading all AHL Blueliners with 55 points in 62 games at Colorado.
MacDonald is a 10-year professional player in Portland, Oregon, with a total of 99 goals and 149 assists in 339 professional AHL games with the Hawks, San Jose Barracuda, Springfield Thunderbirds, Binghamton Devils, Albany Devils and Springfield Falcons. He was selected as the first AHL All-Star team in the 2017-18 season and was selected as the All-Star team in 2019-20.
MacDonald, a Cornell University unavailable, played in 135 games in the NHL with Florida, Colorado and San Jose, collecting 10 goals and 17 assists.
