Everton City: Lineup, Statistics and Preview

Everton v. City Competition Preview

Manchester City will be fourth on the table if the dominant champions end in Saturday’s two winless league runs in Everton.

The city has been walking for more than four hours since Erling Haaland won the Totterham title on February 26 without scoring on top flights.

“It’s not perfect, but we’ve qualified in the Champions League in the last six games,” manager Pep Guardiola saw his team trailing from 2-0 and defeated Crystal Palace 5-2 last Saturday.

The top five will qualify for next season, while Manchester City will start fifth on the weekend, above Chelsea and Aston Villa.

City’s mission was a tricky task for Everton, who recorded one of their best runs last Saturday, winning a 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest, which beat the city by two points.

The only failure of the Toffees in their last 12 league games was in the Liverpool leaders’ matches, although they were drawn to five of their last seven games.

“They are an incredible football team, and they’re still one,” manager David Moyes said of Manchester City. “We don’t have a good record of them, so we have to try to turn.”

Everton will stay 13 on Saturday, but the win could be two points above Brentford and Crystal Palace on both sides of Moyes.

Four months after a knee injury, winger Dwight McNeil has replaced late substitutes in each of Everton’s last two games, including Abdoulaye Doucoure’s additional title in Forest.

“He’s a little bit more intense, but you have to remember he’s been out for a long time,” Moyes said. “He’s really important to us.

“We need him to do a fixed delivery, all kinds of things, I have to say I’m happy to have him back. Is he ready? [to start] But, I don’t know. But we would be happy to get him involved if needed. ”

Winter Jesper Lindstrom (Hernia), forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin (hamstring) and midfielder Orel Mangala (knee) are still outside.

Defenders Nathan Ake (foot), John Stones and Manuel Akanji (thigh) and midfielder Rodri (knee) are among the injured players in New York City, while top scorer Erling Haaland hopes to return from the foot game this season.

Training goalkeeper Ederson and midfielder Phil Foden will perform a later fitness test after the palace was injured.
