Maple Leaf vs. Senator Game Day Preview: Game 6 – Hockey Writer – Toronto Maple Leaf

This is game day. This is a big one.

Toronto Maple Leaf and Ottawa Senators continue their first-round series tonight in Game 6 of Ontario. Ice drops are set to 7:00 PM EST.

Review of Game 5

Game 5 is a game that both Maple Leaf and Leaf Country want to forget. This is exactly what fans don’t want to see them rise 3-1 in the series. They look lifeless and lack urgency throughout the game. At the point, they look like they can be late and rejoin the game. Unfortunately, in the power play, the Senators got the pass and scored 2-1, giving them a 2-0 lead. Since then, Craig Berube decided to pull the goalkeeper, scoring two goals with Ottawa twice on the empty net, and Toronto lost 4-0 and now has only a 3-2 series.

Tonight is the most important game in the series and they need to win. Berube will need to do a roster or two to reintegrate his life into the lad and make them more pressing than the last game. If there is no lineup change, he will need to find another way to inject energy and passion into the roster so they can close the series in Game 6. If they don’t, they may be retained in the first round again and lose in the first round.

Prediction of the 6th

After starting the series with a very tight prediction, the situation turned around. I chose Maple Leaf to end the series of the last two games, but it didn’t happen. But, I don’t believe they will lose to the Senators, they are too good to achieve that. That’s why I chose the Maple Leafs to win a close game against the Senators tonight and officially enter the second round, where they will face the Florida Panthers.

I predict that the Maple Leafs will beat Ottawa 3-1 in Game 6 tonight and will win the series.
