Despite the “perfect night”, Maresca issued a blues warning

Enzo Maresca won a “perfect night” for Chelsea after defeating Djurgarden 4-1 in the conference league semifinals, but his players warned his players despite their comfort.

Chelsea was a favorite to win the third European football match and took another step forward in Wroclaw’s final with a major victory in Stockholm.

After absorbing some early pressure, Chelsea led in the 12th minute, when Jadon Sancho used his bad defense to collect smart passes from Enzo Fernandez and saw Marcus Danielson lean towards his efforts.

Two minutes before halftime, Noni Madueke fired the gun within the second minute of a good job, and Nicolas Jackson then gave Chelsea full command in the second half.

First, he mixed between Danielson and goalkeeper Jacob Rinne, hit an empty net 4-0 at the Senegal striker and entered the upper right corner from the edge of the area.

Isak Alemayehu pulled a game to Djurgarden with a great close header and saw Chelsea win 3-0 in the first leg of the quarter-finals, but then lost to week two Legia Warsaw at the Stamford Bridge, with Maresca no doubt on the back leg next week.

“It was a perfect night. The semi-finals, importantly, it was a great result.”

“But we already have experience with Warsaw games, where we won 3-0 and then we struggled a little at home so we needed to focus on the second leg.

“In an hour, 70 minutes were doing well, and then we dropped a little in the last 20 minutes. Now we need to get the job done from home.”

In another semifinal, the real Betis beat Fiorentina 2-1 in Sevilla. Abde Ezzalzouli and Antony brought out Betis’ orders, and then Luca Ranieri retreated to Serie A to make their hopes for Florence’s second round.

Chelsea also participated in the crowded match of the Champions League qualifiers in the Premier League, with champion Liverpool next being the Maresca man at Stamford Bridge.

“Now we have a game in three days,” Maresca added. “We will be in London at five in the morning and we have a game on Sunday so we have to get back on energy.”
