“It will be a big (summer) and we’re very excited about it,” said Arteta of Arsenal’s summer transfer plan.
“When you’re going again, we want to improve the depth of the team and the quality and skills we need to move forward.
“Every summer is big because it’s an opportunity, especially because the number of players we have on the team at the moment is necessary. But for many things, it’s a huge summer because first, we have to maintain the good foundation we have and then obviously how to improve and grow the team.”
Especially in the last third, more is expected, and Berta hopes to end Arsenal’s long wait to lead Arteta’s frontline.
According to some reports, Arsenal has made “significant” progress in the moves of sports CP star Viktor Gyokeres, although it is also believed that Berta is targeting new players.
Mikel Arteta Green-Lights Arsenal Move for Bilal El Khannouss
Now, according to Givemesport, Leicester City organizer Bilal El Khannouss has also entered their radar.
Morocco has been a bright spark in a disappointing sport for relegation to the fox, and senior Chiefs Stadium officials have recommended him to Arteta.
According to the general manager, the manager agreed to their verdict, while Ateta approved Arsenal’s move to El Khannouss. As a result, the club is now bidding for £22 million for Africans.
Interestingly, El Khannous won the game earlier this season against Tottenham, known as the “Magician” for his attack at King Power Stadium.
The 20-year-old has scored a total of three goals and six assists in all games this season, playing a number of offensive midfielders. Since joining Leicester from KRC Genk last summer, he has quickly won praise from Pep Guardiola despite his smallness.
“He (Guardiola) said that today I was impressed with my drama,” El Khannouss said after losing to Man City earlier this season.
“I’m not. I know myself, this is the player I can be. I have to prove it every week. Now, after a few games, I’m getting used to it. People can see who I am now. I’m going to keep working and building that.”
