The Milwaukee Admiral had a special chance to make the Calder Cup playoffs.
And if the team enters the playoffs, or even its first title since 2004, that moment will be sweeter.
There is a warning: They must win when visiting Rockford tonight in Game 3 of the Central Division semifinals. The regular season division champion was pushed to the edge after back-to-back family losses, including a 6-1 loss in Game 2.
Escape from this predicament will require careful patient extraction. Win tonight, and the fourth game is Rockford Friday. Take good care of Friday, it was back in Milwaukee on Sunday.

“We need to be better,” Taylor said. “It’s simple…we got what we deserve. It’s not insurmountable. It’s a challenge. We didn’t make it easy for ourselves.”
Sure, they certainly didn’t. The Admiral lost a 2-0 third lead in Game 1, and the overtime continued to decline. And Game 2? They beat 3-0 under the 21-minute mark of the game and started to get worse from there. Rockford entered the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena and won two wins with the Admirals, a game where the Admiral tied for the second best home record in the regular season (23-8-3-2, .708).
From past playoff performances, it’s often hard to get too much. Roster changes, young players can show huge differences from one season to the next as they can better master professional games. But the Admiral did make it to the Western Conference Finals over the past two years. This way, they won a total of eight games in the face of the knockout round.
So, while many of the players in Taylor have not experienced this experience, Taylor has it, too. The same is true for the captain Kevin Gravelblue line Spencer Stastney and move forward Joakim Kemell. forward Navilin muttered to himself He did not play for the playoffs two years ago, but started action last year. “The good news is that we still have lives and we have opportunities. It’s just that profit margins are a little tighter now,” Taylor said.
