Arteta must axe with £27m Arsenal star, he lost 16 goals against Liverpool

From a spiritual standpoint, Sunday’s clash with Liverpool is always tough for Arsenal.

After striking into the Champions League in the semi-finals, they may want to be Anfield, the homeland of Premier League champions.

Given a Guard of Honor, Arsenal actually started, Bukayo Saka missed the opportunity on the dock. We’re here again, and that’s another day for those days.

Indeed, this is indeed the case when the Gunners found themselves down 2-0 after 21 minutes. This is the perfect package for this season. Arsenal itself could have been two, but wasted opportunities, as they discovered in Paris on Wednesday, they objected.

This time, Mikel Arteta’s men gathered and had a great second-half show, walking away from Merseyside and making the top four in one match in their battle.

Arsenal has the best performance against Liverpool

While Arteta defended some non-featured wins by William Saliba in the first half, in the forward area, beat the second goal, but there are more encouraging signs.

Saka is his usual effervescent self, and Gabriel Martinelli is perhaps a far-reaching player.

Martinelli-Arsenal-Liverpool

The Brazilian initially started the game on the left, but there were some tactical adjustments at the half-time, not only from Martinelli, but also a new showcase throughout.

Leandro Trossard moved to the left and Martinelli moved into the center of the court. In the second half, the two attackers combined excellently in less than a few minutes to bring Arsenal back to the game.

The Belgian winger crossed the box, Arsenal’s No. 11 is ready, waiting to bring the ball home. In fact, this tactical tweak changes the game. Martinelli made many threatening runs behind, which also brought Martin Odegaard’s best form.

The Norwegian’s campaign was in a strait with only five scores, but he got closer to his best in the second stage, playing a lot against Martinelli.

Odegaard also plays a crucial role in the equalizer. Many supporters lamented that he was reluctant to shoot from range this season, but the second goal came from his boxing inning.

The captain released a rolling drive, Alisson tilted to the post office, but Mikel Merino followed up nicely and brought the rebounds into an empty net.

This is another key moment in the happy backend of the season for Espanyol. Well, until he was given a red card on Dominik Szoboszlai for a later challenge, which was his tackle, and saw him branded with a second yellow card.

Despite this, Merino is far from the worst player on the court.

Arsenal has the worst performance against Liverpool

Arsenal’s defense is certainly not the best since Gabriel’s injury, but Jakub Kiwior must be praised for their performance, who stood out in a two-legged victory over Real Madrid.

That being said, Saliba without Gabriel is not a very simple voyage.

The French Titans are undoubtedly a great player, but the centre-back has some nervous moments when playing from behind. He also completely shut down Liverpool’s opening goal.

Despite the assist, it was also an afternoon for Trosad, and his worries became more complicated when replaced by a noticeable hamstring injury in the 78th minute.

This is not good news for Arsenal, especially after Merino’s late red card. Who would guess that Arsenal will play against Newcastle next week.

Either way, Arteta should consider isolating him from the team. Even if he doesn’t come from the team entirely, he should be ruled as the main center.

In the words of Arsenal writer Connor Humm, the £27m signature is a “waste of time” as a striker, rather than a body that exaggerates the ball and perhaps lacks the kind of run we see from Martinelli when switching positions.

Trossard won only seven of his 13 games in the clash but failed to make a single shot at the target. Worse, he lost the ball 16 times. This is not what you need to make the role that others work.

There was a wasted moment, but instead summed up his saturated season in the first 45 minutes. Arsenal put a good pressure on Liverpool’s free throw area and won the ball. However, neither the party nor Trosad controls the situation, waiting for each other to take away the property. Or do this, which may be a goal. Instead, the opportunity begs.

Trossard-Arsenal-Champions League

Such moments are why Belgium International is often frustrated supporters this season. There is talk about the new contract, maybe he deserves a contract. There aren’t many better squad players on Arteta’s ranks.

However, if Arsenal is going to sign one or two attackers, trossard should be given to the boots to accommodate them.
