The 2025-26 campaign will be the beginning of a new era for the Toffees, with Moyes’ team moving to Bramley-Moore Marina, while the Friedkin Group hopes to make some statements to sign the move to the new stadium.

This is according to a report by Givemesport that says Moyes is an admirer of Lille’s Angel Gomes, who will leave the French club in a free transfer this summer, and Everton is now taking action to secure his signature.

The Toffees are retrying to win Gomez, but they may have a huge battle in their hands, with Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and West Ham United expressing interest in the midfield.

As Abdoulaye Doucoure, Idrissa Gueye and Orel Mangala are currently leaving Goodish Park after their contracts expire this summer, it is also likely to intensify demand for new midfielders.

“Magic” Gomez might be a great signature

The England international suffered some injury setbacks in a tough game time in the second half of the season, but his previous attacks in Ligue 1 suggest he could be a great signing for Everton this summer.

After being called to the Three Lions earlier this season, the 24-year-old has been highly praised by French football writer Julien Laurens, who said: “He is one of the best players in Ligue 1, no doubt.”

Given his accuracy and desire to push the ball forward, the Master continues to focus on his full debut for Finland.
