According to a new report, Leeds United can hope to replace two players they are not very satisfied with, to the Premier League this summer.
Leeds took a huge step over the weekend toward the championship game, when they beat Preston North 2-1 on Elland Road. All three goals of the day scored in the first 13 minutes of the crazy ones, with Manor Solomon opening the score in just four minutes.
Preston then upgraded through Kaine Kesler-Hayden two minutes later, and Jayden Bogle tied up Solomon’s cross into the Nets to complete the score.
The victory ensures Leeds maintains the title, and only four games are guaranteed to return to the Premier League’s nine points before Burnley finishes second in goal difference.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke spoke after defeating Preston: “After a week of exhaustion, it was a priceless three-pointer for us. It must be our highest XG this season – it should score six, seven.”
“We were on top today and the fire burned. We kept moving forward, started well, scored very well. It was crucial. We were back to good defensive behavior. We were full of energy, but it was cool in our heads.”
Leeds will soon replace Bamford and Piro
According to a new report by football insiders, Leeds has begun looking forward to the next season, more specifically the summer transfer market.
The publication reported that whites “prioritize signing strikers” this summer because they don’t believe their current choices Joel Piroe and Patrick Bamford are Premier League quality.
Piro scored 15 goals in 42 championship games this season, while Bamford did not find the net in 13 games.

Football Insider claims that despite being the second-place scorer for the championship this season, Leeds doubts whether Piroe can join the Premier League, and Bamford cannot rely on Bamford due to his injury history, the couple’s total of £85,000 on Elland Road.
Meanwhile, young man Mateo Joseph scored only three goals throughout the semester. As a result, this summer, Leeds and 49ers Enterprises’ top priority will be signing a top striker.
As a potential replacement for Piroe and Bamford, former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson recently urged Leeds to go out and buy former Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham to buy from Roma while talking to football insiders.
“People like him can lead the roster, play a knockout striker and bring you goals,” Robinson said. “He was proven in Serie A and proven in the Premier League, he is a player who knows the league and has done a great job before.”
