Ruben Amorim hopes to make a real mark on Manchester United in the summer transfer window, thus unloading many players who are not at the required level.
Throughout 2024/25, the Red Devils were in trouble at the second half of the Premier League table, with insufficient expectations from their fan base.
But the 40-year-old has only one transfer window to make an impact in Old Trafford and it will take more time to make a judgment on his term.
He will hope that the hierarchy will support him to lead one party back to the top of the department – given that they are undoubtedly in this position under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Given his future in the past 48 hours, his future has emerged, it seems unlikely that he will be reunited with a player.
Man Utd looks will miss Geovany Quenda
According to David Ornstein, Chelsea agreed to a deal to sign Geovany Quenda of Sport CP, which costs £40 million in the area, for a 17-year-old.
The deal will allow the teenager to loan on Portugal next season, before signing an eight-year contract with Bruce and contacting them in the summer of 2026.
United had previously participated in his signature, and given that he was guided by his hometown, Amorim was undoubtedly reunited.
Quenda registered two goals and six assists in 43 of all 2024/25 games, and the Red Devils may not agree to a deal with Chelsea before the influx of the incoming.
However, supporters should not worry, as the club already has a player who gets first teams in the near future may become better than teenagers.
Probably the next Quenda of Amorim
Patrick Dorgu moved to the club from Lecce on the Italian side in January, hoping to play the left-back role – a position that has often been a problem for various managers over the years.
Dane has starred in his brief spell at Old Trafford, with six matches in all competitions – his best performance in the Europa League Thursday night.
However, there is still debate on the right, and Amorim may have his own version of Quenda in the form of 17-year-old Bendito Mantato, who excels at the youth level.
Mantato can run in the last third of the defender position or side, with versatility to play the role of a defender in Amorim’s 50% off system.
The young man registered seven goals and 14 youth appearances throughout the campaign, highlighting the offensive threat he possessed.

But analyst Ben Mattinson calls the teen a “creative” and “explosive” but also has many qualities that make Quenda play a deeper role – a decision that takes his career to the next level, as he’s seen when he’s to be relocated to Chelsea.
His 1V1 ability has attracted attention from the academy setup over the past few months, undoubtedly contributing to his enormous goal record in youth.
Martinson has previously said his pace of recovery makes him a perfect fit for the defender, bringing his two major assets together and allowing the manager to have another talented teenager on his squad.
If Amorim has ever been able to succeed with a young man, then there is no denying that he can play his magic again – allowing Mantato to thrive and fight for the first team position this time.
Including such young talent in the advanced setting can be a risk, but as he saw during his Sporting, his high risk yields high returns, and young people may allow supporters to forget to miss the Portuguese Star’s miss.
